Nicola Mendleson

Nicola has more than 25 years experience as a strategic advisor in
the areas of stakeholder engagement and communications for clients in the
government, corporate and not-for-profit sectors. She has focused her work in
the areas of natural resources, infrastructure development, health and community
services.

 

Nicola has specialist skills in strategic planning, facilitation,
issues management. She is regularly called upon to facilitate workshops and
consultation programs, and speak at industry events.

 

Her proudest moments have been with challenging and sensitive projects, bringing
diverse stakeholders together to achieve effective engagement, collaboration and
decision-making.

 

She has helped clients to build their brands, move into new markets, create support
for new initiatives, facilitate change processes, and improve motivation and
team spirit.

 

Nicola’s recent work includes advising organisations such as
Melbourne Water, VicRoads and Holden. She is a Fellow of the Public Relations
Institute of Australia, active in the Victorian Committee for the International
Association of Public Participation and a non-executive director of Windermere
Child and Family Services.
